Dennis C. Bley is President of Buttonwood Consulting, Inc., a company focused on applying probabilistic risk assessment and human reliability analysis to a wide range of industries and endeavors, He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Ph.D. in nuclear reactor engineering from MIT. Dr. Bley is a registered professional engineer in the state of California, with 50 years of experience. He began his career in 1968 as an officer in the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, has been a member of the ACRS for 14 years, and has served as Chairman of the Committee.
