Kristen DiFilippo is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois, where she prepares students for health careers with an interdisciplinary focus. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, her research explores technology based strategies to support nutrition education and behavior change for chronic disease prevention. Recent work also focuses on reducing food insecurity in rural communities using a human factors approach.
