Adam J. Hepworth is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of New South Wales Canberra, Australia. He received the M.S. in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School (2017), M.Log&SupChMngmt from the University of South Australia (2015), and B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of New South Wales, Canberra (2009). He is employed as an Operations Research Analyst, where he applies operations research methods to the defense and homeland security domains. His current research contributes to swarm shepherding for human-swarm teaming, activity recognition and behaviour prediction, and the design of artificial intelligence systems.
