Michelle Hight
Biography
Prof. Hight retired in 2014 from a career flying the C‐130E/H/MC‐130H pilot in the United States Air Force. She did seven flying deployments and one 90 day deployment as the sole USAF rotary wing liaison to the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Iraq. She counts that as "eight" deployments, but did 13 other trans‐oceanic hops taking airplanes to/from the three theaters of war between 2004‐2014. Her time in AFSOC AOC strategy plans rounded out her USAF career. She teaches several Aeronautical Science courses at ERAU Prescott: AS 411 (Jet Transport Systems), AS 350 (Domestic & International Navigation), and I've taught the FAA Ground Schools (AS 121/321), AS 311 (Turbines), and AS 435 (Flight Management Systems).
